Teen star Miley Cyrus, who is a huge fan of singer and actress Dolly Parton will celebrate turning 17 next month with a birthday bash themed on her idol.

The singer hails from the same Nashville, Tennessee hometown as Parton and admits that the 63-year-old country singer is one of her idols.

So Cyrus is preparing to dress like the singer on November 23 and she's insisting all her guests to do the same.

During an appearance on US presenter Ryan Seacrest's radio show Cyrus said, "I want to rent out a cool place and play all Dolly Parton music and have everyone dress up as their favourite Dolly moment.

"I am really excited about getting all my crew members to dress up as Dolly. That's probably going to be the funniest thing ever," Cyrus added.
