Actor Emran Hashmi has alleged that he's been discriminated against. The actor apparently went looking for a house in the posh Pali Hill but a housing society he approached refused.

Emran believes the housing society is discriminating against him because he is a Muslim and now the actor has filed a complaint with the State Minorities' Commission, demanding action against society members.

The society reportedly refused to give him a no-objection certificate even after he had paid the token amount of Rs 1 lakh.

This is not the first time that an actor in Bollywood has faced such problems. Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar and Aamir Khan had also in the past been refused houses in particular localities.
