Rockstar Jon Bon Jovi hates the superficial Hollywood lifestyle and insists he wants "no part" of it.

The 'Lost Highway' hitmaker has enjoyed movie success in films like 'Pay It Forward' and 'U-571' but has never considered turning his back on native New Jersey to move to Los Angeles, New York Post reported.

"I know one thing. I am definitely not a product of that Hollywood-style life. I don't like how they live, what they do, or even the way they do it. It's a shallow pool out there," the 47-year-old singer said.

Jovi who has been married to his high school girlfriend Dorothea Hurley for the past two decades, said that his quiet life with his wife and four kids is way up on his priority list than the glamorous Hollywood life.

"I totally understand how tough that is on true values and what it can do to a person and a family. I know I want no part of the Hollywood life. That stuff is not for me," he said.
