Pop singer Lady Gaga, who is known for her risque outfits and eccentric onstage antics, now plans to "hatch out of an egg" as she kickstars her show Monster Ball.
The show, which revolves around the theme of "evolution" will see the 24-year-old singer emerge from an egg.
The Poker Face hitmaker says her tour, which replaces the cancelled 'Fame Kills' tour with rapper Kanye West, will show an "evolution" of her character from the very beginning, Contactmusic reported.
"I actually hatch out of an egg in the show. That's the beginning of the show. It's kind of the beginning of evolution. I begin as a cell."
"The show is based on this theme of evolution, which has a lot to do with how I've changed over the years, and in a symbolic way of describing myself as a person, as Gaga," the singer told a radio station.
Gaga also hopes to take on the pop stars, who haven't had to work hard in the same way as her to make it famous.
"In a way, I think it's kind of convoluted the way that people think about it, because the assumption is that they believe that pop singers should kind of pop out of nowhere and be born and cracked out of an egg one year that the record label lays, and that's not the way that should happen."
