Ankit Tiwari said that his look is inspired by SRK
Singer-composer Ankit Tiwari has delivered one chartbuster after another over the last couple of years. However, unlike some of his colleagues who have left the mike to face the camera, Ankit does not have any plans of becoming an actor.
"There are seriously no plans of becoming an actor. I have no association whatsoever with acting. If it's about appearing in front of the camera and performing, then I am already working on my single where I will be seen on screen, performing on my own number," said Ankit.
"Acting in my own song and acting on screen with dialogues is absolutely different," said Ankit at a media interaction for the film Do Lafzon Ki Kahani. The
Galliyan singer has composed a track for
Do Lafzon Ki Kahani, which has been directed by Deepak Tijori and features Kajal Aggarwal in the lead. Mr Tijori and Kajal were also present at the event.
A few journalists also asked Ankit about his 'style and mannerisms' which resembled Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, to which Ankit admitted that his look is inspired by SRK.
The trend of singers turning into actors has been quite common in the industry. Some of Ankit's contemporaries including Himesh Reshammiya, Sonu Nigam, Shaan and Mika Singh are perfect examples.
