Living Proof: The Farewell Tour would be her last and she stepped back from the limelight after completing the run of gigs in 2005.
She later signed up for a three-year Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum theatre at Caesar's Palace Hotel & Casino, but now she's itching to get back onstage in front of her fans.
Cher has also encouraged her fans to suggest tracks for the album.
"I would appreciate your top 10 or more fave songs ! That would b (sic) a good start!"
