I was honoured to sing for Rajesh: Manna Dey

Music legend Manna Dey, whose playback singing for Rajesh Khanna, particularly in Anand, touched the hearts of millions, today said he was greatly honoured to sing for the superstar.

"Rajesh was my friend. He was a nice person. I have been greatly honoured to sing for him," Manna told a Bengali TV channel over phone.

Mr Khanna, 69, died at his Mumbai residence today.
