Incidentally, Jessica's engagement news comes just days after ex-husband Nick announced his decision to marry his current partner, Vanessa Minnillo.

Come On Over hitmaker began dating Eric in May and previously hinted that she wanted to marry him and have children with him.
"I am from the south so I've definitely dreamed of being married my whole life and having children, so hopefully that's in my future," she said.
The blonde beauty also praised the footballer for making her happier than ever. "He definitely makes me very happy. He brings out a lot of light in me and makes me very comfortable being who I am. It's nice to be with somebody who praises you for the right reasons," she added.
