However, the injured star was quick to reassure herfans, whom she calls 'Heartbeats', about her performance.
"I have ripped a main ligament in my foot and havebeen put on crutches and told to rest. I'm in a lot of pain,"wrote Jessie on the micro-blogging site Twitter.
The
Price Tag hitmaker added, "Don't get it twisted!I'm gonna be singing tomorrow at #STB even if I have to crawl,be carried or be wheeled onto stage! My foot is 3 times itsnormal size but my #heartbeats rule and I will not let youdown!".
Other stars at the Summertime Ball include NicoleScherzinger, JLS, Jennifer Lopez and Cee Lo Green, amongothers.
