- But another source insisted the couple are not ready to get engaged yet. The insider said: "They aren't engaged and I wouldn't anticipate to see them engaged anytime soon."
- Daniel Gibbings is a Santa Barbara-based jeweller and John is said to have bought the ring while visiting Katy's parents in the area last week, who are very "comfortable" with him.
- The brunette beauty and her singer boyfriend were also joined by her mother and father, Mary and Keith Hudson, for dinner at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills after the Grammy Awards on February 10 and the quartet seemed to enjoy one another's company.
- A source previously said: "Katy couldn't have looked happier. She was just beaming with a huge smile on her face. Katy, John and her parents seemed to be celebrating the night. They were laughing a lot and looked really at ease and comfortable with each other.
