  • Mayor Rudy Clay said: "The world can expect a 'Tribute to Michael' every year in June in Gary, Indiana. The world is invited."
  • The free-admission tribute will take place at the 'Thriller' hitmaker's childhood home from 5-8pm, culminating with a candlelit vigil.
  • Those wishing to participate in the vigil are advised to bring their own candles.
  • Meanwhile, Sony Pictures Entertainment have agreed to grant lawyers for Dr. Conrad Murray - who is accused of the involuntary manslaughter of the singer - access to over 100 hours of raw footage from Jackson's rehearsals for his planned 50-date 'This Is It' London residency.
  • However, a stipulation filed with a Los Angeles court yesterday (23.06.11) says they are not allowed to publicly comment on what they see in the 21 boxes of film.
  • The lawyers are believed to be searching for footage that would show the singer was unwell in the lead up to his death.
