Speaking to the Mail on Sunday newspaper's Event magazine she said: "Young girls on Twitter were cutting themselves, self-harming to get his attention to get him to stop.

"Imagine when those little girls are adults and they have kids and they ask, 'Oh mum, where did you get those scars?' How do they respond? When I was 12 my favourite singer smoked marijuana. I think it's very irresponsible of him to do that!"
  • Paris revealed she knows the problems with social networking and avoids reading any hurtful messages directed and her or her family. She explained: "On Twitter I used to take everything personally when people would tweet me [negative] stuff. So I'm like, 'I need to stop'.
  • "I was very upset. I try not to look at my mentions all the time because there's so much hate there. I've stopped reading it. I try not reading about my family."
