Peter Andre is going on 'the caveman diet'

Peter Andre is going on 'the caveman diet'

Highlights

  • The Behind Closed Doors hitmaker, Peter Andre overindulged during the festive season and so is planning on beginning a strict eating regime when he gets back from a skiing holiday.
  • He said: "I’ve really over-indulged over Christmas, but everyone does that, don’t they? I’ve probably put on a couple of kilos, so I’m going to start the caveman diet as soon as I get back to the UK. It basically involves eating just steak, nuts and vegetables for a couple of weeks!"
  • Peter – who has recently been on a sunshine break to Dubai with children Junior, six, and four-year-old Princess – has pledged to be more spontaneous this year and is enjoying his last-minute trip to Switzerland.
  • He added in his latest column for new! magazine: "I’m writing from the Swiss Alps this week as I’ve come here for a few days with my brothers Mike and Chris and my friend Nick. It’s absolutely stunning and we’re having a ball. After my holiday in the sun with the kids, I fancied a few days skiing, so I just got on the phone and booked something last minute. I’ve decided 2012 is all about spontaneity.
  • "We’re staying in a beautiful chalet and we’ve all been mucking in and cooking for each other. I’ve also managed to do a red run, which I’m so chuffed about."
