London: A piano belonging to the 'King of Rock and Roll' Elvis Presley, is all set to go under the hammer.

The singer's beloved Knabe white grand piano is expected to fetch 1 million pounds at the auction next month, Daily Express reported.

The piano, which took pride of place in his Graceland home in Memphis between 1957 and 1969, is the star item in 'Elvis memorabilia' going under the hammer in the city.

"For the serious Elvis Presley fan or collector, it is hard to imagine a more important musical relic ever being made available to the public," said an auction spokesman.

Presley, the best-selling solo artist in the history of popular music was given a new gold piano to replace it by his wife Priscilla on the couple's first wedding anniversary in May 1968.

The Jailhouse Rock hitmaker died at the age of 42 in 1977. It is also estimated that his iconic gold-framed sunglasses will sell for at least 12,000 pounds at the auction.
