Los Angeles: Late singer Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown was reportedly banned from seeing her mother's body after she died for fears that it would "haunt" her.

According to a source, the 21-year-old, who is currently fighting for her life after she was found face-down in a bath more than a week ago, has become "obsessed" with Whitney's death, after she died in the same way in February 2011, reports mirror.co.uk.(Also Read: Bobbi Kristina Brown Needs a Miracle, Says Jennifer Hudson )

Bobbi Kristina was placed in a medically induced coma after her husband Nick Gordon found her, and is fighting for her life with her father Bobby Brown by her side.

When Whitney passed away three years ago, her daughter was in a neighbouring suite at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, and was said to have been kept away from seeing her body over fears that she would be "forever haunted" by it.

Instead, she was reportedly given sedatives and later taken to hospital with "uncontrollable grief".

"She was seemingly obsessed by it - strangely more so than last year or the year before," The Sun newspaper quoted the source as saying.

"She talked more about that anniversary, than her recent first wedding anniversary," the source added.
