Sonam Kapoor's Khoobsurat, which releases on September 19 has officially got the seal of approval from the Bollywood beauties of lore. Actress Rekha, who starred in the original Khoobsurat (1980), was seen at a special screening of the film along with producer Rhea Kapoor in Mumbai on September 16 . The actress looked gorgeous in a golden sari.
There were reports that Rekha, who won the best actress Filmfare for her performance in the original, was not happy about a remake being made. But her presence at the show and display of affection for Rhea dissed all those rumours.
Rekha playfully bowed down to Rhea, giving her approval and appreciation for the film.
Also at the show was actress Sridevi, who looked pretty in this beige outfit.
She was joined at the screening by her husband producer Boney Kapoor.
Boney's brother Sanjay Kapoor was at the screening with his wife Maheep.
Also at the screening was actress Neelam Kothari, who chose a black tee and denims for the do.
Neetu Singh and Rima Kapoor Jain were also spotted.
Sonam's cousin, actor Mohit Marwah, also attended the event.
