Cannes film festival started on May 11
The red carpet on day one of the Cannes Film Festival was crowded with celebs dressed in their best. Mallika Sherawat made quite an entrance, dressed in a Georges Hobeika gown.
Blake Lively, star of the opening film Cafe Society, dressed her baby bump in Versace.
Blake's co-star Kristen Stewart channeled a punk rock in in Chanel. Kristen has a second film at Cannes this year - Personal Shopper, which will screen in the competition section.
Jessica Chastain, walking the red carpet with French actor Vincent Lindon, was a ray of sunshine in Armani.
Eva Longoria wore a serene white number by Pamella Roland and styled it with Lorraine Schwartz jewellery.
Jury member Kirsten Dunst picked a typically offbeat Gucci number.
Actress Naomi Watts, who represents L'Oreal at Cannes, scored high on our fashion-o-meter in an Armani Prive number.
