It was a gathering most august. Amitabh Bachchan, Sachin Tendulkar, the Ambanis and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated the state-of-the-art JIO garden, a joint initiative between Reliance Industries and MMRDA, in Mumbai on May 27.
Fadnavis cut the ribbon with Nita Ambani, dressed in an embroidered rani-pink suit.

Nita Ambani welcomed Bombay Velvet actor Ranbir Kapoor with a warm hug.
Ranbir chatted with Mrs Ambani and Sachin Tendulkar's wife Anjali, dressed in a peach embroidered kurta.
He also struck up a conversation with Rajkumar Hirani, who will direct Ranbir in the biopic of Sanjay Dutt.
Cricketer Yuvraj Singh looked sharp in blue denims paired with a crisp white shirt.
Later at the event, a friendly football match was organized with sports enthusiasts Abhishek and Ranbir leading out the teams of children.
Sachin Tendulkar did the honours at the toss, with Gaurav Kapur acting as emcee.
John, Abhishek, Ranbir, Sachin and Rajkumar Hirani all cheered for the children.
Yuvraj and John Abraham had a joke to share.
Later, Ranbir ushered Nita Ambani and Sachin onto the field.
Ranbir, whose team won the match, collected the trophy and cheque from Big B, bending down to touch the senior actor's feet.
