    Vicky Kaushal, who has starred in hit films like Raazi, Sanju and Uri: The Surgical Strike, is celebrating his 30th birthday today. As he turns a year older today, here's a pictorial look at his journey in Bollywood so far.

    Vicky Kaushal was born in Mumbai on May 16 May 1988. The actor briefly took an engineering job and he began his career in Bollywood as an assistant director with Anurag Kashyap's Gangs Of Wasseypur.

    Vicky Kaushal made several brief appearances in films such as Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana(2012), Bombay Velvet (2015) and a short film titled Geek Out (2013).

    Vicky Kaushal's breakout film was Neeraj Ghaywan's Masaan, co-starring Richa Chadha and Shweta Tripathi. The film opened to great reviews and it was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival.

    Vicky Kaushal did not have any releases in 2017 but 2018 turned out be a great year for him. The actor featured in Meghna Gulzar's Raazi, co-starring Alia Bhatt, in which he played the role of a Pakistani army officer. The film emerged as a hit at the box office.

    The actor then starred in Rajkumar Hirani's Sanju, a biopic on Sanjay Dutt's life, starring Ranbir Kapoor in the titular role. Vicky played the role of Sanjay Dutt's best friend Kamli in the film.
