She will also feature in a Hollywood movie as well as make her debut in the Sri Lankan film industry.

Jacqueline was born in Colombo to a Sinhalese Sri Lankan father and Malaysian mother. At the age of three, her family moved to Bahrain where she spent most of her childhood. She graduated in Mass Communication from Australia before moving to Sri Lanka to model.

Jacqueline won the Miss Sri Lanka title in 2006 and went on to anchor a television show titled Lanka Business Report.

Jacqueline's new film Bangistan, opposite Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat, released few days before her birthday. She will also be seen in Karan Malhotra's Brothers, starring Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra.

She will soon be seen in her maiden Hollywood project Definition Of Fear, which also features actresses Blythe Hubbard, Mercedes Papalia and Katherine Barrell.

Apart from her Hollywood project, Jacqueline is all set to make her debut in the Sri Lankan film industry with According to Mathew. The film, which is directed by Chandran Rutnam, is based on a real life double murder that took place in 1979.
