Jailed actor Sanjay Dutt came home on a month-long break from prison to a sizeable welcome committee comprising of his Bollywood friends. Among them was his Munna Bhai producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra, pictured here with the actor and his wife Maanyata. Mr Dutt, 56, was granted a 30-day parole on August 26 for his daughter Iqra's nose surgery.

Sanjay Dutt was sanctioned leave for a month by Pune's divisional commissioner Prabhakar Deshmukh after he filed an application citing his wife Maanyata's illness.

"My wife has a tumour of the liver. There have been many cancer instances in my family. Doctors are investigating. Please pray for my wife. We will follow medical course after the investigation," he told the media.
