In a chat with the film's producer S Lakshman Kumar, we get a peek into the mysterious elements in the poster. Says he, "If you look at the title logo you will notice droplets of water all over it. This water element plays a very important part in the story. In fact there is a thrilling underwater segment in the film."

The movie is directed by Madhesh and has been shot 80% in London. Lakshman Kumar, Who produced Suriya's Singam 2 earlier, has left no stone unturned to bring in slick and classy elements required for the story which is set in India and London. Trisha plays dual roles.

She had already put a photo on Instagram in the garb of a chef, standing next to Jacky Bhagnani. Now Lakshman Kumar reveals the other 2 clues in the poster which point to story's backdrop. "In the poster's background you will notice bricks and an incomplete construction of a pillar with iron rods sticking out. This refers to Trisha playing an architect in the film. Now the chef and architect characters are connected to each other from several generations ago. A clue to this aspect of the story can be seen on the logo of Mohini with the drawing of intertwined DNA on it."

For those wondering why she is in a goddess look with weaponry, Lakshman says, "Trisha in the poster is how she appears to the villain, vanquishing him, seen through his eyes. She appears to him as a goddess out to destroy the evil that he represents."
