Movie review: Julayi

Movie review: Julayi
The most anticipated Telugu movie of 2012, Julayi is in no way different from director Trivikram Srinivas's earlier works. The romantic comedy revolves around Ravindra Narayan (played by Allu Arjun) who comes to know about Bittu's (Sonu Sood) plans to rob a bank and gets him arrested. Ravindra shifts to Hyderabad where he meets Madhu (portrayed by Ileana D'Cruz) and falls in love with her. The plot takes a twist when Bittu is released from jail, bent on revenge.

Allu Arjun has delivered an outstanding performance. He not only succeeds in impressing the viewers with his acting and dancing skills, but also does a good job in imitating actors like NTR, ANR, Krishna, Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh and Pawan Kalyan in the song Mee Intiki Mundo Gate. He is the main attraction of the film without doubt.

Actress Ileana D'Cruz adds to the glamour quotient while Sonu Sood's villainy is appealing and energetic.

Brahmanandam, Ali, MS Narayana and Tanikella Bharani impress with praiseworthy comic timing.

The cinematography by Chota K Naidu and Shyam K Naidu has captured the picturesque locales in a beautiful manner and Devi Sri Prasad's music is commendable.

Overall, the movie caters to all ages. Watch the movie for its witty dialogues and energetic performances.
