"Selvaraghavan is a master of his craft. We have wanted to work together for a long time and I am glad it's finally happening. The film will be a blend of many things and will certainly be something I have never done before. The best of audience expectations from both Selvaraghavan and me, will be met in this film," said Suriya.

Suriya, 41, is looking forward to exploring all the possibilities of this melange. "I admire Selva for many reasons. His range is so varied, he never sticks to any one genre. From 7G Rainbow Colony to Pudhupettai and Ayirathil Oruvan, you can see he's not dependent on just one forte, but explores many genres. He has the unique ability to make newcomers and non-actors, perform on par with established actors. His dialogues are unique and stand the test of time. In fact, technicians from every film craft want to work with him! For my part, I am hoping that Selvaraghavan will push me out of my comfort zone. I will try my best not to be Suriya on screen," said Suriya.

The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be finalised.
