This Kabali-Special Plane Will Take Off With Rajinikanth's Film. See Pics

Chennai: A special aircraft is being readied for take off to coincide with the release of Tamil superstar Rajinikanth's new film Kabali. Malaysian carrier Air Asia has partnered with the film and a Kabali-special plane has been painted and stickered in keeping with the theme.
 


The plane's exterior has a huge image of Rajinikanth as Don Kabali and also features the name of the film.
 


Kabali is scheduled to release on July 15, although reports suggest this may be pushed to July 22, and the aircraft will fly Rajinikanth fans from Bengaluru to Chennai for the first day, first show. Guests will be served a special Kabali-themed menu on board.

Celebrating the success of the movie's hit song Nerupuda, which means 'it's fire,' photographs released by Air Asia show the Kabali-themed aircraft glowing like embers.
 


The flight will connect 10 other cities, including Bengaluru, New Delhi, Goa, Pune and Kochi.

Directed by Pa Ranjith, Kabali stars Rajinikanth in the role of a Malaysia-based don. Radhika Apte stars as the leading lady in the film, the music of which has been composed by Santhosh Narayanan.

The film's music released on social media recently and set social media on fire.

Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, the film has already been booked for Rs 200 crores, say sources.
