Actress Vidya Balan shared the first poster of her upcoming film
Ekk Albela on Twitter on Friday. Vidya plays the role of veteran actress Geeta Bali while Marathi actor Mangesh Desai plays Bhagwan Dada.
Ekk Albela is a biopic on actor-director Bhagwan Dada and traces his journey and the difficulties he faced while making his 1951 musical
Albela.
The film marks Vidya's debut in the Marathi film industry. Set in Mumbai, Vidya, 38 and Mangesh sport a retro look in the film's poster.

Vidya had said that she feels honoured to play the role of Geeta Bali onscreen. "It's an honour to be playing the effervescent Geeta Bali even if it is just a special appearance, and to be recreating
Albela for a Marathi biopic on Bhagwan Dada," Vidya had said.
