Week-long musical treat at Yogic Temple

  • Hindustani classical and pop singer Shubha Mudgal will take to the stage on February 15. The next day will see Ravikiran, well-known Carnatic musician and composer and Santoor player Tarun Bhattacharya will come together for a jugalbandi, an official spokesman for Isha Foundation, the organisers, told reporters here today.
  • Other performers in the Dhyanalinga Yogic Temple at the IshaYoga Centre will include Carnatic musician Neyveli Santhanagopalan.
  • The Yaksha will lead to the Mahashivarathri celebrations on February 20, where more than eight lakh people are expected to gather at the Centre, to hear the discourse by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, the founder, interspersed with musical performances by Padmashri Wasifuddin Dagar, famed classical singer of Dhrupad genre.
  • Popular playback singer Kailash Kher and 'Colonial Cousins' Hariharan and Leslie Lewis would also perform, the spokesman said.
