Welcome is the absolute opposite of Taare Zameen Par. It has no craft, content or ambition to stimulate your mind and heart.
This film can't even manage continuity so scenes jump from Dubai to Khandala seamlessly.
A rehash of the Hugh Grant starrer Mickey Blue Eyes, Welcome exists only to make you laugh. If you are willing to settle for the lowest of low brow humour, then you might find yourself chuckling.
Parts of Welcome are funny: Nana Patekar playing a don turned Bollywood wannabe sparkles, Feroz Khan, playing himself as always, has a few moments.
Anil Kapoor and Akshay Kumar, as don and prospective groom have a ball. it's brain dead fun.
But by the time, you reach the climax, lifted from Charlie Chaplin's classic Gold Rush, you feel that they have all seriously overstayed their welcome. Watch this one at your own risk.

welcome movie is the mixture of fun,comedy and the funny incidents that happened in the common life of any person.all the actors played their role beautifully and efficiently,specially akshay.the presence of paresh raval improves the comedy in the film.nana patekar and anil kapoor also contributed very much and valuable acting.in the present time most of the directors are focusing on comedy and family dramas. -- vijay (vijay_journalist07@yahoo)
Welcome--u r welcome to the world of laughter,fun,comedy,drama and what not..Akshay Kumar is the best hero.He fits in each character.Nana Patekar and Paresh Rawal adds more fun to the movie.The movie is fit for all age groups,for the people who are fun lovers and can digest the extremist stage of comedy.Anil Kapoor also did a good job.
storyline is superb!No one can feel bored while watching the movie.The music automatically forces everyone to tap their feet.katrina is looking very sweeeet.I hate mallike so no comments for her…The song ucha lamba kad is my all time favourite.ALL THE BEST TO THE TEAM...
