After Charlie Hebdo Attack, Tina Fey Defends Free Speech and 'Dumb Jokes'

Pasadena, California: Actress Tina Fey said that the attack on the French newspaper on January 7, and the Sony hacking incident due to the movie The Interview is a reminder of the importance of free speech.

Tina said, "Even if it's just dumb jokes in The Interview, we have the right to make them."

When asked to comment on Wednesday's attack, the former 30 Rock and Saturday Night Live star said that it was a reminder of the importance of free speech. "You cannot back down," she said.

On Wednesday (January 7) masked gunmen killed 12 people at a French satirical newspaper.
