New Delhi: She came, she saw and she conquered. Alia Bhatt was invited to the latest Bigg BossWeekend Ka Vaar on Sunday and there she was, promoting her upcoming film Dear Zindagi with charm turned all the way up. Salman Khan, who hosts the weekend edition of the reality show, was floored. Not so floored, however, that he neglected to ask her the question that was on everyone's minds - why no Shah Rukh Khan? SRK, who is Alia's co-star in the Gauri Shinde-directed film, and Salman are on the best of terms now, as everyone knows, so the 51-year-old's absence puzzled most folks. So Salman asked, Alia answered. Turns out, SRK doesn't like her jokes. Alia, we feel you. Not everyone can be as witty as King Khan himself.

SRK calls Alia's jokes 'PJs' (poor jokes), it seems. This we learnt in advance from Dear Zindagi Take 2, in which teaser SRK advised her: "When your jokes are beyond repair, recycle them." Clearly, Alia hasn't taken this bromide to heart IRL.

Back to Weekend Ka Vaar. Teased by Salman about not wanting to share the limelight with Shah Rukh Khan, Alia responded with a request the Sultan actor couldn't say no to. SRK's name in Dear Zindagi is 'Jug,' a shortened version of Jahangir, and Alia said the name reminded her of the song Jag Ghoomeya from Salman's film Sultan. Sing it for me, she demanded. Not only did Salman sing, he also danced.

Alia entered the Bigg Boss house with a challenge. The male contestants were required to impress her with their most romantic pick-up lines and unconventional props. Manu Punjabi fared the best and was announced the winner. By the way, did we tell you that Alia had already named Manu as her favourite contestant?

Alia also moderated a kabaddi match between Gaurav Chopra and Rohan Mehra on one side and Manveer Gurjar and Manu on the other. Team Manu won again, only to receive a message from his girlfriend while Karan got one from his father. As the two got emotional, Alia exited the house to meet show's host Salman Khan.

Alia named Manu, Rahul Dev, Lopamudra Raut and Manveer as the strongest contenders on the reality show. As part of a game, Alia attempted to sell underwear while Salman cracked everyone up with his sales pitch over Swami Om's photo.

It was a double eviction weekend on Bigg Boss 10. After TV actor Karan Mehra's exit on Saturday, November 19, Lokesh Kumari Sharma was shown the door of the Bigg Boss house on Sunday, November 20. Salman Khan upbraided both for being the least entertaining on the show. Bigg Boss 10's Team Celebs is minus one now, with Karan becoming the first celebrity contestant to be evicted from the Bigg Boss 10 house. Team Celebs now have Rohan Mehra, Rahul Dev, Lopamudra Raut, VJ Bani, Monalisa (real name Antara Biswas) and Gaurav Chopra left. Team Indiawale consists of Swami Om, Nitibha Kaul, Manu Punjabi and Manveer Gurjar. Currently the Bigg Boss house has 10 contestants.

Salman Khan didn't mince words when he said that Karan had done nothing to entertain the audience since Day 1. Salman added that since Karan has been such a famous TV actor, a lot more was expected out of him. Karan didn't have much to say about Salman's charge. All he could manage was an embarrassed smile and said that he hadn't expected to be evicted so soon. He tried to give a speech about his 'good' month-long stay in the Bigg Boss house which was cut short by a visibly bored Salman.

Lokesh, who came across as one of the strongest contenders in the beginning, seemed a little disoriented in the last week. Salman, who has praised Lokesh's devil-may-care attitude during his Weekend ka Vaar sessions, asked her what happened to her energy and chutzpah off late. A visibly disappointed Lokesh said that she was 'too sweet' and she knew there was no place for sweet people in Bigg Boss's house. Salman then showed their journey in a montage which left both Lokesh and Karan emotional.

Monday will be interesting as contenders will be asked to go through the nomination process. Can Swami Om escape nomination this time? Let's wait and watch.
