Los Angeles: Reality TV star Caitlyn Jenner shared that she keeps her Olympic gold medal in her make-up drawer and it is her most prized possession.

The 65-year-old star, who was known as Bruce Jenner before undergoing gender transition in May, won the men's decathlon at the 1976 Summer Olympics and considers the medal as her most prized possession.

"My gold medal is my most prized possession - I'm so proud of it," the I Am Cait star said at her weekly series of editorials The Real Me that talks about issues and people in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community, reports mirror.co.uk.

But Caitlyn does not display the medal at home because she does not want her children to feel under pressure to achieve a similar level of success. (Also Read: Caitlyn Jenner Says Wearing Swimsuit Was 'Nervewracking But Freeing')

Caitlyn has two teenage daughters Kendall, 19, and Kylie, 18.

"I never wanted my children to feel like they had to have a gold medal in order to be considered a success. I didn't want them to constantly compare their own achievements to my time in the Olympics, so I haven't displayed my medal. Here's why it currently lives in my make-up drawer," she said.
