Television actress Divyanka Tripathi got engaged to her
Yeh Hai Mohhabatein co-star Vivek Dahiya in a close-knit ceremony on January 16 in Mumbai; the duo are "extremely happy." The love-birds are most likely to get married in 2016.
In an interview to
Indian Express, Vivek said that marriage is "Most definitely this year and that will be decided by our parents. We have come this far. We are going to let our parents take us further. Both our families have met. They are extremely fond of each other. It didn't feel like they were meeting for the first time. We are extremely happy that not just us but even our families have started to share an extremely close bond. All the joking, pulling of each other's legs started from the first day itself."
He also added: "Divyanka is extremely happy. We both are extremely happy. We have finally found the one, the one that we were always in search for."
Vivek also revealed to
Indian Express that it is an arranged match as they were introduced through a common friend: "We started looking at each other from a life partner's perspective. We often met after work and eventually started understanding that we are very compatible and similar to each other and we can take it further."
Divyanka, who has a huge fan following in the television world, plays the role of Dr Ishita Raman Bhalla in
