John Abraham Re-shoots His Episode With Simi Garewal

Mumbai: Despite heavy and continuous showers on Saturday, John Abraham made his way to Film City to re-shoot for Simi Selects India's Most Desirable.

According to sources, the interview that was shot a long time ago looked lukewarm in comparison with other episodes with the celebrity guests and thus, has to be redone to add some chutzpah. A source said, "Though John is known to be politically correct, he has spoken about his ex-flame Bipasha Basu on the show. But there were certain portions that needed to be redone. And the actor agreed to be on the sets yet again. Viewers will not even notice that it has not been shot at a stretch but after a big gap."

Simi admitted, "Yes, it was kind enough of John to shoot again with us. He was the first guest on the show. It was like a pilot episode."

But she also said, "After watching it we felt the lights needed to be redone as well as some portions of the sets.To maintain the continuity we had to re-shoot. He's such a sweetheart and willingly agreed to do the portions again."

She added, "As John's episode will be telecast at a later date, we had to resort to the re-shooting, otherwise it would stand out among the rest of the episodes for the continuity reasons."

Did he want certain portions to be edited out? "Not at all," said Simi. "He has been honest and frank on the show. It will be telecast after a couple of weeks."

Shahid Kapoor also shot for Simi Selects India's Most Desirable over the weekend. His shoot was also on Saturday just before John's re-shoot.
