Kumkum Bhagya, December 1, Written Update: The Plan That Failed

New Delhi: The Kumkum Bhagya episode aired on December 1, was expected to bring in a rude shock for protagonist Pragya. In a fortunate turn of events, Pragya was saved from further trouble, courtesy her mother Sarla. Thursday's episode continued to take place at the birthday party of Abhishek's niece and nephew. Tanu and Aliya had roped in Nikhil to defame Pragya in front of the entire Mehra family.

Tanu and Aliya dragged Nikhilt to a corner to say that Dadi already has a clue about their plan. Soon, Aliya decided to snatch the mic from the host and made announcements about the party and Abhi and Tanu's upcoming sangeet. Along with the good news which Alia shared, - birthday, she made an announcement about a 'shocking' piece of news which is 'indirectly linked to the Mehra family'. Mitali, Abhishek's sister-in-law stops her saying she doesn't want her children's birthday party to be ruined. As part of the celebrations a video is played, which changes the course of Tanu and Aliya's plan.

Meanwhile, Pragya is greeted by Nikhil who apparently wanted to congratulate Pragya for her pregnancy, which has been faked by Tanu and Aliya. She threatened to reveal that she was kidnapped by Nikhil, who in turn says he is going to reveal the identity of the father of Pragya's child. Pragya avoids any further conversation and walks out on Nikhil.

The video played at the birthday party turns out to be a recording of the encounter between Sarla and Dr Shobha, who was bribed by Tanu and Aliya to fake reports of Pragya's pregnancy. Mid-way through the video, Alya and Tanu sensed danger and asked it to be stopped but Dadia nd Abhi insisted to complete watching it. Eventually it is revealed that Pragya is not pregnant and that the misconception was created by wrongdoers.

Abhi and Pragya get into a fight over this but Dadi came to the rescue and hugged Pragya. Meanwhile, Abhi asked if Pragya suspects anybody, who might have created the ruckus. Aliya, Tanu, Pragya and Sarla exchanged glances but keep shut keeping Abhi's health in mind. Abhi made a promise to find out the wrongdoer.

A change of scene later, Pragya thanked her mother and the duo got emotional about it. Sarla revealed that it was Biji who helped her with the plan. Meanwhile, Nikhil, Aliya and Tanu have a fight after the plan failed. They blame each other for their failure. Nikhil said the only reason he tolerates Tanu is because she is Aliya's friend. In the sneak peek of the next episode, Pragya promises to drive Nikhil out of the Mehra house. She also says she has returned to the family as Abhi's wife and not his secretary.
