Performing the Gerua Act Was a 'Great Moment' For Sunil Grover

Comedian Sunil Grover said that it was a special moment for him to perform the Gerua act in front of team Dilwale comprising Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, on the television show Comedy Nights With Kapil.

"It was a great moment. Big stars were sitting right in front of me and performing. I would call it one of my good performances," said Sunil, who is popular by his screen name Gutthi.

The actor credited the script and conceptualisation for his act.

"It was not only my performance, but there were external factors also like the reaction of people, song conceptualisation, etc. Everything put together it worked," added Sunil.

The 38-year-old actor was speaking on the sidelines of a show in which he performed here on the New Year's Eve.

Shah Rukh was overwhelmed by Sunil's performance and hugged him too.

"It was Shah Rukh's greatness which made the act memorable. He allowed me to hug him. That is gratefulness and that is why he rules the heart of people," said Sunil.

Sunil, who was seen in Akshay Kumar's Gabbar Is Back, will be seen next in Baaghi: A Rebel for Love.
