Tom Cruise, You Had us at Hello. Fallon, You Should Have Known Better

A still from The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

New Delhi: TV show host Jimmy Fallon should have known what he was signing up for when he invited Tom Cruise to participate in one of his now legendary lip-sync battles on The Tonight Show. The 53-year-old actor is, after all, the same man who made lip-syncing both famous and legit 32 years ago in 1983's Risky Business. And he did it wearing nothing but a shirt, his underpants and socks.

Tom was fully clothed this time, but he had lost none of the skills that made the Risky Business scene so epic.

Fallon, you've been owned. Tom Cruise had the last laugh and cheer, beginning with The Weeknd's Can't Feel My Face to thunderous hoots from the crowd.

His host's offering was a pretty mean take on The Rolling Stones' Undercover Of The Night, but was bested by Tom's version of Meat Loaf's song Paradise by the Dashboard Light.

Tom Cruise, you had us at hello. Fallon was floored as well, declaring his superstar guest lip-sync champion there and then (he seems to lose a lot!).

As a bonus, Tom and Jimmy dueted on The Righteous Brothers' You've Lost That Loving Feeling.

And look how that turned out:

Tom Cruise will soon be seen in Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, which is the fifth film in the Mission: Impossible franchise and is directed by Christopher McQuarrie. The film will hit screens on August 7.
