  • In Sasural Simar Ka, it houses the faces of Maataji, Prem and Simar
New Delhi: Imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery but this time the makers of television show Sasural Simar Ka have gone too far. The latest promo of the show takes inspiration (read copies) from popular television series Game of Thrones.

They've (rudely) copied the Hall of Faces sequence from the fifth season of Game of Thrones. In Sasural Simar Ka promo, the antagonist walks around in a room similar to the Hall of Faces and houses the faces of Maataji (Jayati Bhatia), Prem (Dheeraj Dhoopar) and Simar (Deepika Kakkar) herself.

The new daayan has an agenda, like every other supernatural being previously had, and she spells it out loud: "Ab lagega Bhardwaj parivaar ko grahan."

Meanwhile, here's the Game of Thrones version:

The Hall of Faces, which is within the House of Black and White, first came to notice when Jaqen H'ghar brought Arya Stark there. The room will be explored more in the upcoming season.

In Game of Thrones, the Hall of Faces houses skinned faces of the dead which is terrifying because it shows faces of some of the loved and yet alive characters like Tyrion Lannister. (Also Read: Game of Thrones Countdown: So What's The Deal With Jon Snow?)

In Sasural Simar Ka we shudder to think what use the Hall of Faces will be put to.
