"The team left for Bulgaria over the weekend. This is the final schedule of the film and it will last for about 45 days. They will be shooting some major action episodes apart from regular scenes," a source from the film's unit told IANS
"After much contemplation, the makers have finalized Vivek as the antagonist. He will join the sets later this month," a source from the film's unit said
"Akshara plays the second leading lady and she has an action-oriented role. While Ajith will be seen as an Interpol agent, Akshara will be seen as his partner," a source from the film's unit told IANS.
The film will be directed by Siva and will be predominantly shot abroad including places such as Bulgaria where the makers will shoot the first schedule for 40 days
Ajith's Vedalam has raked in Rs 15.5 crores on day one and around Rs 12 crores on the second day, and has left behind superstar Rajinikanth's Lingaa whose opening day collections read Rs 13 crores in 2014. Experts say that Ajith, who has a huge fan following down South, could be the next superstar of Tamil cinema.
Superstar Rajinikanth joined other members of the Tamil Nadu film fraternity on a hunger strike in Chennai, to show solidarity with Lankan Tamils.
