The curtains went up on the 44th edition of the Indian International Film Festival in Goa. The opening ceremony featured the Who's Who of Bollywood and world cinema. American actress Susan Sarandon was the chief guest. Actress Waheeda Rehman was felicitated with the Centenary award for the Film Personality of the Year.
