Shahid Kapoor said that the coolest thing about his upcoming film Rangoon is that it is a contemporary take on a period. "I always wondered whether Rangoon would be boring. But it's not. Rangoon is like Haider. It's similar," Shahid told NDTV.
Shahid Kapoor, who has featured in Vikas Bahl's Shaandaar, said that he is very fortunate that he is doing a quirky film like Shaandaar after the dark and edgy Haider. "I am very fortunate. Also, I am in a very happy place because I am doing a quirky film like Shaandaar after Haider. It's the nicest thing that I could have ever wished for," Shahid told NDTV.
After the phenomenal success of Haider, actor Shahid Kapoor can now look forward to a Shaandar year ahead. The release of the film, co-starring Alia Bhatt, has been confirmed for Dussehra.
