In an interaction at the Dadasaheb Phalke Foundation Awards, where Shah Rukh received a prize for Happy New Year, the actor spoke about his knee injury. He said, "It's been going on for years now. I have smashed my patella now. So, they are telling me I can't dance as well as I used to, which will not be such a bad thing. I am recovering now."
