Twinkle posted a picture of Akshay and their daughter Nitara peering out of the window of a plane. Twinkle, who goes by the moniker MrsFunnyBones on Twitter, often shares information about her daughter on social media. The couple married in 2001 and are also parents to 13-year-old son Aarav.

This is the latest in a series of humorous asides in typical Twinkle fashion in aid of her new book, Mrs Funnybones: She's Just Like You and a Lot Like Me. Her husband Akshay Kumar, son Aarav and mother-in-law have formed the subject of several hilarious tweets as well as newspaper columns.

On Twitter, Twinkle describes herself as "A bonafide member of an ambiguous tribe of the new age Indian woman; heavily armed with the weapons of my choice: google and lame jokes."
