Sarbjit revolves Sarabjit's sister Dalbir Kaur's struggle and relentless fight for her brother's freedom. Randeep Hooda played the titular role in Sarbjit while Aishwarya Rai Bachchan played the role of his sister

"Love Sonia happened before we set dates for promotions. I'm really happy with the response Sarbjit is getting. I wish I could be with the team however my commitment to the film too was important and thus I tried my best to shuffle," Richa said

"I don't make movies for awards. It should be seen by everyone. It should be a success in that way. You are not making a film for yourself obviously. If we do get awards, then nothing like it," said Omung Kumar

"I had always admired your talent, but after watching you in Sarbjit last night I could not resist writing to you and expressing my immense admiration for your work in the film. May you continue to prosper and may you give us many more occasions to applaud you and your tremendous talent," Big B wrote in the note
