Over 250 copper coins belonging to the reign of Sher Shah Suri (1540-1545) and his successors have been discovered by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) on the premises of Khirki Mosque in Delhi during the course of conservation of the monument.

Senior Uttar Pradesh Minister Rajendra Chowdhary, a close confidant of Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, has likened him to historical Afghan leader Sher Shah Suri, according to media reports on Monday.

In a reversal of roles, popular Bhojpuri playback singer-actor-music director Manoj Tiwari will now make his debut as a producer with bilingual film Hamid.
