Actress Shabana Azmi recently recorded two songs, written by poet Rabindranath Tagore, for filmmaker Aparna Sen's English film Sonata. Shabana said that it was a terrifying experience as she did not want to disappoint. The film is based on Mahesh Eklunchwar's play by the same name. Sonata will see Aparna sharing screen space with actress Lillette Dubey.
