Actor and former boyfriend Salman Khan has reportedly come to actress Katrina Kaif's rescue. The actor suggested Katrina's name for Rhea Kapoor's Veere Di Wedding. However, since the character is hard-core North Indian, Katrina couldn’t stand a chance given her accented Hindi. Rhea chose Kareena Kapoor Khan to play the role, instead.
