Got your tickets yet? Uma Sudhir had hers on Thursday night and watched this year's biggest film. Here's what she thought.
S S Rajamouli's Baahubali 2 released worldwide today and fans have been celebrating since morning by placing garlands and pouring milk over Prabhas' posters. Not to mention the long queues.
Producer Shobu Yarlagadda, whose film Baahubali: The Conclusion releases on April 28, said that the film will have the biggest release in India at par with any Khan film. He added that S S Rajamouli's film will also hit across 1,000 screens in the US, the biggest for any Indian film. "It's getting bigger than what we planned. We are glad that it panned out this way," Mr Yarlagadda said.
Rana Daggubati said that he got an offer to play the role of a war-lord in a Russian film.
Baahubali director SS Rajamouli has confirmed that he is planning on a short Baahubali TV series, which will approximately have 10-13 episodes. SS Rajamouli revealed that he cannot compile the book The Rise of Sivagami into a 2-3 hour movie and so will bring it as a mini television series.
Baahubali Director SS Rajamouli said that if a filmmaker promises to base the story of the movie on human emotions rather than on regional emotions, then the film will surely cross the regional barrier and be a national film. "I'm happy that Baahubali is a pan Indian film," he said.
Talking about the film, Tamannaah says: "I have done a lot of Tamil, Telugu films but I think the Hindi audience knows me because of Baahubali. Prior to that, whatever I have done didn't reach out as much but I think Baahubali was a redemption of sorts." (Video Courtesy: iFlickz.com)
Actor Rana Daggubati, who reprises his role as king Bhallaladeva in Baahubali 2, said that the sequel to the epic drama will be a 'larger' film and a visual treat. "Now we have fighters, who worked in films like Troy and 300. It's been great working with these people," said Rana. (Video courtesy: iFlickz.com)
