Actor Abhishek Bachchan has started shooting for the third installment of hit comedy series
Hera Pheri on April 9.
Abhishek, 36, took to microblogging site Twitter to share the news with his fans.
In the film, which is a follow-up to
Hera Pheri and
Phir Hera Pheri, actor John Abraham has replaced Akshay Kumar, while Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty will reprise their roles. (Also Read:

John, Abhishek and veteran comedian Kader Khan are the new additions in the franchise. The movie will be directed by Neeraj Vohra, who also directed the second installment.
This is the third time Abhishek and John are working together, after
Dhoom and
Dostana, where they pretended to be a gay couple. (Also Read:

The movie is scheduled to release on December 18.
