  • When asked if there was any rivalry between the father-son duo since both are involved in new projects—Mr Bachchan in TV serial Yudh and Abhishek as a Kabbadi team owner, the actor said there was no such thing. "There is no competition. I always discuss and consult him before initiating anything and seek his blessings. I have seen the serial (Yudh) and he is doing great. Here, I am busy with my team and looking after them," Abhishek said.
  • The actor said that the team and the Kabaddi League will keep him occupied till next month. He will be devoting time to promote his upcoming movie Happy New Year as well.
  • Abhishek said his father taught him Kabaddi in childhood and he also played the game during his student days in Delhi.
  • "My father is very excited about the league and my new role as the team owner. He also wanted to come to Jaipur to see the preparations but he could not make it. Hopefully he will visit Jaipur along with our other family members during the match,” he added.
