Ajay Devgn: Won't Join Politics, Not My Cup of Tea

New Delhi: Ajay Devgn, who was recently in Bihar to attend a political rally amid the state assembly polls, said that he harbours no political ambition. The 46-year-old Singham star, who missed the chance to address the rally, is happy being an actor, producer and director. (Also Read: Not Afraid of Box Office Clashes, Says Ajay Devgn)

"I don't intend to join politics, not at all. It's not my cup of tea," Ajay told reporters while addressing a session at the ongoing CII Big Picture Summit 2015.

The actor missed the chance to address the rally as he said his chopper could not land due to a "huge turnout".

"Apologies for not being able to reach the rallies at Biharsharif and Nalanda since the administration did not give permission because of the unmanageable crowds," he had tweeted. (Also Read: Didn't Expect Overwhelming Turnout at Bihar Rallies, Says Ajay Devgn)
